Hello there! I'm Elkie from the land of Philippines. My life  as  being an amputee is giving me more confident and cool.  Started 1989 when i was in college days and a third year level in a course of Medical Technology. During my teens life 19 years old, i was hit of an illness cancer of the bone, and took me so many years before i got recovered. I also undergone chemotherapy for 3 times and lost my hair for almost a month. It is very difficult for me to accept at first because my life is full of happiness and enjoyable moments with my friends and classmates. I am so depressed that time, all my dreams are fall out of failed,

i did not finished my course and fulfill my dream to be a flight stewardess.

It was a year  passed by, almost 22 years from now ... still remained in my heart but no pains and discouragement. I am now fulfill as an amputee, accept the reality and making a new name for good and being a model from others, despite of many challenges i been through. I may say now, i am more fulfilled!

Life goes on, and explore all the things to show the world that i can do all without hindrance.
